"Definition of Man" had its world premiere at the Hollywood Fringe Festival in June of 2017 at the Sacred Fools Black Box. Show dates were Friday, June 2 at 9:30PM, Thursday, June 8 at 5:00 PM, Sunday, June 11 at 10:30PM, Saturday, June 24 at 1:30PM and Sunday, June 25 at 4:00 PM, with two over-sold encore extension shows on June 30 and July 1st added.

The show was nominated for multiple awards, including best World Premiere, and secured best in its category in Dance & Physical Theatre, as well as the "Ripest Show Award" from Cherry Poppins.
